Overview
London Essex Aesthetics required a fast, templated build that could still deliver strong page speed and support an external SEO agency’s workflow. The site needed to live inside WordPress because the SEO team relied on specific plugins, but performance still had to be a priority.
Brief
The client wanted a modern, clean website that felt polished without the cost of a fully bespoke build. The site had to fit within a WordPress environment while supporting the new block-based editing approach. It also needed to be simple for the external SEO agency to manage.
Approach
We delivered a templated build with custom adjustments, then integrated the main layout as custom HTML within WordPress. This kept the pages lightweight while still allowing the SEO team to use their required plugins. By working in this way, we preserved page speed without breaking the client’s existing SEO processes.
The layout was designed to be flexible within the WordPress block editor. This meant core sections could be adjusted without affecting performance or structure. We kept the HTML clean and made sure the spacing and typography aligned with the brand.
We also focused on a content structure that works for service-based searches. Key services were presented clearly, with concise copy and focused CTAs. This ensured visitors could understand the offering quickly and move to enquiry routes without friction.
Outcome
The client received a fast, well-structured WordPress site that supports both performance and SEO requirements. The external SEO agency can continue to work within their preferred tooling, while the site still benefits from a lean, modern front-end structure.
Notes
This project shows how WordPress can still deliver strong performance when templates are carefully structured and heavy elements are avoided. The balance between SEO tool compatibility and front-end speed was the main focus, and the final result achieves that without unnecessary complexity.
